Getting started
What is HOOKDATA?
A web app for TikTok Shop creators and their teams: plan and shoot videos, edit them with your editor or an AI agent, check them against TikTok policies, post on schedule, answer brand emails and see which videos sell.
How much does it cost?
It's free to start: create your account and try the whole flow. Paid plans aren't defined yet.
Do I need a credit card?
No. You can create your account and use it without one.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. HOOKDATA runs in the browser and is designed to be used from an iPhone or Android as well as a computer.
Which languages is it available in?
English, Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese. It opens in your browser's language, and everyone on the team can switch to their own.
Videos and editing
Do I need a human editor?
No. You can let the AI agent edit, invite your editor, or combine both depending on the video.
Does HOOKDATA post to TikTok for me?
It prepares each video with its account, date and caption ready. You upload it to TikTok and mark it as posted.
Can I manage several TikTok accounts?
Yes. Each workspace can hold several accounts, and each video is tied to the account it's for.
What are retainers?
Monthly deals where a brand pays for a set number of videos on a specific account. HOOKDATA tracks progress and the pace you need to meet each one.
Guardian AI
Does Guardian guarantee my video won't be penalized?
No. It reviews the video against the published policies and flags what looks risky. It reduces the risk, but it can't remove it.
What does Guardian check?
What's on screen, what's said in the voiceover and what's written in the caption, including the commercial disclosure sponsored videos need.
Gmail and brand deals
Does HOOKDATA read all my email?
It scans incoming mail to find brand collaborations and only stores those threads. It never deletes or moves anything.
Will it answer brands without me?
No. It drafts replies and only sends the ones you approve, from your own address and thread.
Why does Google show an "unverified app" warning?
Gmail access goes through Google's verification, which is in progress. Until it's approved Google shows that notice; you can continue with Advanced and Go to HookData.
Analytics and data
Do I need to share my TikTok password?
No. Video numbers come from the public profile of each @handle you add.
Can I see sales per video?
Yes. Import your sales and each video shows the orders, GMV and commission attributed to it.
Who can see my data?
Only the people in your workspace, with the role you give them. Each workspace is isolated from the others.
Can I delete my account?
Yes. You can request deletion of your account and data at any time.
Teams
Can I invite my editor or assistant?
Yes. Invite them by email and give them a role: they only see and do what that role allows.
Does it work for agencies?
Yes. You can run several workspaces, one per creator, each with its own accounts and team.
